What is real to you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 12, 2007:
Goddess1
It was there that I found a group of women who revered the Goddess. Wow! I was home. From this open and accepting community, I also began to explore Buddhism. The concept that we are the source of our own suffering by our desires seemed to ring a bell in my solar plexus. Sitting in meditation has become a joy in my life. It's there that my buried emotions have space to surface.
I am now adding New Thought to my mix of truths. I have found that my path is unlike anyone else's and that it is perfect for me. I have been able to accept that we can all have our own path and our own truth. None is better than the other. None is wrong (unless used to hurt others).

Help

Thanks for sharing your experience of reality here with us. One of my favorite truths from Buddha is that “All unhappiness comes from attachment.” My path has been similar to yours, waking up to a new world and a new way of thinking. I wish you peace and joy as you travel this new road of self- and Spirit-awareness.
Thank you! I wish you the same.
Namaste,
Kim
