What do you believe about dates like December 21st, 2012?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 17, 2007:
I'm not really sure what I believe about that date. The year 2012 has been popping up in my orb of consciousness; emails, books, etc. I feel the call to pay attention. I meditated for an hour this morning for the Fire the Grid project. I am really hopeful that the world's energy vibration was raised and healing began.
As for 2012, I will be reading more about its significance. I strongly believe we (the human family) are headed toward a higher awareness and energetic vibration that will take us into a better future.
