Who has been the most significant person in your life so far?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 03, 2007:
My children have been the most influential people in my life. Because of them, I have quit smoking, gotten sober, and returned to college. My life is so different now than when I first became a mom. I stumbled through life, letting it be decided for me instead of living on purpose and following my own dreams. My kids have given me the courage to step out of the dysfunctional patterns that I inherited from my family and create a life I can be proud of. They are the best reason to improve myself because as I change, I lay out a new future, with endless possibilities, for them.
